Elia provides consistent emotional and physical birth support through out labor and delivery. She is trained in comfort measures, breathing techniques and informational assistance. As a non-medical support person, she is focused on maternal mental health and advocacy as well as overall labor satisfaction while the medical team is focused on the infant.
